Tasks may include helping in the kitchen or bakery, house cleaning or yard work, helping in the garden, or helping with harvesting or food processing on an organic farm.
All tasks are accomplished together in a community setting, so you will have opportunities to speak with many people in a safe, caring and happy environment.
Each location will provide details about the opportunities available, and you can ask the volunteer coordinator about the things that you may be doing while staying there.
Every location on the iVolunteer network provides a place to stay and three meals a day, for no charge! The only commitment required is that you will participate to the best of your ability in helping out with the work arranged by your volunteer coordinator, and be present for mealtimes and community gatherings.
All volunteer coordinators on the iVolunteer network are more concerned about good relationships rather than just the work, so you will have many opportunities to have meaningful conversations.
